If you do not see your school on the map, don't worry... just sign up for an account with your school email and you will be taken to a pending account. You can get started by viewing and searching for ads. After about 24 hours, your school will be officially added to The Campus List and you can begin posting ads!

Charge you? That's not how we do things around here! It's completely free to post or view any ad you like.

Registering for an account isn't required to browse ads and contact sellers. It is, however, required in order to post an ad. Signing up for an account is easy and free. We want to ensure that our site is filled with items that really float your boat and make you happy.

Find your campus from the homepage. From there, you can choose to register and list an item or just browse. By registering, you will be automatically taken to your campus on future visits to the site. Your campus page will be the starting point for finding everything you need. If it's not there, just broaden your search to other campuses within your geographical area. For your personal amusement we have also included different view modes so you can see instantly if that lime green sofa would look good in your apartment.

We want our site to stay smut free and uniquely targeted to students. Classified sites that fail to regulate user traffic often end up filled with ads that are irrelevant to the college student.

Once registered, you will have access to a page that allows you to manage your ads. You can edit the content, add photos, or delete ads if necessary.

Absolutely. Thecampuslist.com does not in any way wish to enable users to break the law. Postings that advertise prostitution, drug usage and those that contain pornography of any kind are strictly prohibited. We want this service to work best for everyone; allowing spam and illegal content prevents that.

Ads will stay posted for three weeks - after that period ends, the ad will automatically be deleted, unless it is renewed. Renewing an ad is easy, and can be done through your personal 'My Info' page.

This can be done through expanding the search on your home page to include other schools within "x" amount of miles from your campus.

Your information is absolutely safe. If you've posted an ad, the only way people can contact you is through our website. They will be required to fill out the contract form and send you a message, which is routed through our server to your email account.

It's really easy. All you have to do is go to "My Info". Once you have opened this link, click on "My Ads" and you'll easily be able to edit, add, or delete any unwanted postings.

There are few reasons an ad could get deleted. The ad might have violated our posting policies, AKA porn or phishing scams...not good. We will also delete ads that are not identified under the correct section...also not good. We really don't want to delete any ads at all, because that seems like a lot work...so help us out here.

Each ad has a tiny little brain inside of it with the sole purpose of counting how many people view it. Whether your ad's name is Fred or Suzie, it will consistently total the number of people that look at your ad. This count will help you out in pricing your item. If your ad has been looked at 2000 times, then Fred is telling you that your lime green sofa really isn't worth that 500 bucks.

Sure, you can post as many ads as you want. Sure, you can post as many ads as you want. Get creative with it: post your books, post your car, post that cat that keeps hanging out your backdoor.

Job postings are completely free. Just call us a horse of a different color. I mean, why would all those other sites want to take your money from you anyways?

They better be! In all honesty, we are working our hardest to keep this site squeaky clean. We can't guarantee that every job posting is legit, so take caution, but you can bet your bottom dollar that we are working hard.
